As the tag lineI'm old fashioned and I still believe in taking the time to get to know someone slowly - i.e. exchange several emails, a couple of phone calls and then meeting for a date. Every woman secretly wants a man who will gently take the lead, the way Mother Nature intended it. I don't have a laundry list of "must haves" . . . but, I would like to meet a man who doesn't THINK he's a good man, I'd like to meet a man who IS a good man. I like a guy whose not afraid to get his hands dirty, a man that knows how to treat a lady like a lady, a man who is kind and generous with his time, affections and attention. One who respects women and admires female ambition, a man who is responsible and confident in who he is and one comfortable expressing himself. I won't be running you down, blowing up your phone or engaging in psychotic texting so if you're the type of man that expects a woman to lower herself to this type of behavior to win an ounce of your time, you'll be disappointed in me. DISCLAIMER: I dont' wanna do this because I'm really a sweet person, but I feel it's necessary - to save you and me from both wasting our time. So here goes, done with a dose of sarcasm. If you're a game player, you'll be transparent to me. If you've got a long list of bartender exes, buzz off bar fly. If you're into casual dating, I ain't your girl. If I give you my number and you send me a picture of your pecker, I may hunt you down and lop it off. If you send two emails and then expect a date, it ain't gonna happen - you're going to have to actually speak to me first, guys. If you're in your 30's or 40's and willing to date an 18 year old, I won't take you seriously. Tinkering with my head won't work - it'll only frustrate you and expose your insecurities. If you're ok with taking a stranger home from a bar, you're not my type. So those looking to solely hookup . . yea, that probably won't be as easy as you think so don't waste your time. There has to be a connection of some sort for things to lead anywhere and players don't put much effort into anything so . .you see where I'm going with this? I don't believe in fairy tales and as much as I'd love a relationship, it feels more like chasing golden butterflies these days. So at this point, some company and friendship would suffice. I don't need your money, your possessions or to be taken care of. I provide those things for myself. What I'd like is someone to go to dinner with, catch a movie with, cook for and hopefully go camping with when Spring appears. If it leads to something more, that'd be a welcome surprise. |
